We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
I enjoy meeting new people of all ages and helping them understand oral health. Dentistry is an exciting profession. New products and materials are always coming on the market and the solutions to common dental challenges are virtually endless. For me, emphasizing the need for regular checkups and cleanings is important. It is so much easier to prevent dental problems this way and is much kinder on the budget.
As patient care coordinator, my role is to help each patient stay on track with their care. There are great financing tools available now and we can often phase treatment to work with an individual’s schedule and comfort level. I sincerely want our patients to feel that we are here for them; there is no challenge that we can’t work through to help them keep their smile healthy!
When away from the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son and traveling.

I so enjoy my relationships with my patients, winning their trust, and making a difference in their oral health. That is what dentistry is all about! We all genuinely want to make our patients feel comfortable and well-informed about their dental needs and treatment options. We use technology and imaging software along with educational videos to help them understand what to expect as well as things they can do at home to improve their oral health.
Over the years I have met so many wonderful people. One of my favorite experiences was with a dear middle-aged lady who had never had her teeth cleaned before in her life. She was nervous but very determined to get her smile healthy again. We worked together on treatment and home care, and at her follow-up appointment she brought me a basket of fruit!
Away from the office, I stay active and love yoga, dancing, walking, and working out in the gym. I treasure my time spent with friends and enjoy traveling, cooking, and reading.

What I love about dentistry is taking care of people. If a patient is in pain, being able to help them get out of pain is a great feeling. If someone is embarrassed about their smile, helping them achieve a healthy, attractive smile is an incredible experience. You can visibly see how dentistry has improved their health and their self-confidence soars!
As a dental assistant, I want my patients to understand their own oral health and what their options are if they are facing smile challenges. Dental technology and materials have advanced tremendously in the last few years. Taking care of your teeth is easier than ever before. If you are struggling with oral health, we are all very determined to help you get your smile back.
When I am away from the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, my daughter, and my son.

I joined the Hobbs Dentistry team in 2013 and as a Hygienist my job entails numerous duties, such as providing dental care and education on prophylaxis, treating periodontal disease, taking x-rays and administering preventive treatments such as applying sealants & fluoride. I enjoy working with my doctors and the rest of my team because not only are they dedicated to providing quality dental care, they are all around great people to work with. Being a hygienist allows me to meet new people and provides the opportunity to spend time getting to know my patients, which is my true passion. After graduating from MCG in 1994, I moved to Augusta and married a native Augustan. My husband & I have two children: a son & daughter whom both attend Davidson Fine Arts. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and three dogs. I also like jogging & outdoor activities.
As a Front Desk Associate my job entails taking calls, scheduling appointments, pulling patients’ insurance benefits and going over treatment plans. I joined the Hobbs Dentistry team in 2015 and I enjoy working with my doctors and the rest of my team because the environment never seems to skip a beat and everyone does their best to keep one another uplifted. Working up front allows me to be involved in the first steps of creating new and improved smiles, and that in itself is rewarding. I am currently pursuing a degree in dental hygiene and am really excited about the journey to becoming a Dental Hygienist. In between classes and my time at the office, I enjoy volunteering at church, working out, and painting my nails. When I’m not on a time restraint I love to jump in the car for a spontaneous road trip!

As a Certified Dental Assistant my job includes taking x-rays, sterilizing dental instruments, maintaining patient records and instructing patients on proper dental care. After graduating from my dental assisting program in March of 2015 I shortly became a member of the Hobbs Dentistry team. I have a true passion for helping others so that’s what lead me to the dental field. Being a dental assistant allows me to be chair-side with the dentist and help transform one’s smile. Knowing I was able to take care of someone or help one get over a dental fear is a wonderful feeling. I love working with my doctors and the rest of my team because they are the true meaning of teamwork! I have hopes of later furthering my career in dentistry, but for now in my spare time I enjoy shopping, baking and spending time with my friends and family.
