Jancy Parkerson, DMD, FICOI
Dr. Jancy Parkerson is a native of Eastman, Georgia. Dr. Parkerson attended Mercer University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Chemistry. She then received her Docorate of Dental Medicine at Georgia Regents University (formerly Medical College of Georgia) College of Dental Medicine in 2013. After graduation, she completed a two year hospital-based General Practice Residency. During her residency, Dr. Parkerson became proficient in implant placement and restoration, IV conscious sedation, wisdom teeth extractions, and treating medically complex patients as well as complex prosthodontics.
Additionally, Dr. Parkerson is a part-time clinical instructor at Georgia Regents University College of Dental Medicine where she assists in teaching GPR residents implant placement and providing comprehensive dental treatment. Dr. Parkerson also assists in teaching the hands-on components of implant courses at GRU, where dentists nationwide participate to integrate implant procedures into their private offices.
Dr. Parkerson is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, The Hinman Dental Society, The Academy of General Dentistry, and a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). In her free time, she enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with her boyfriend, Daniel, and their two dogs, Paisley and Maggie.
